Hi, my name is Misha.
I specialize in working with adolescents and women in areas of self-compassion and gentleness with their bodies. My passion is psychophysiology - understanding the way our minds, emotions, and bodies interact together. It is a delight and honor for me to work with clients who are just beginning a new health journey or with those who are stuck and looking for partnership in areas they need fresh perspective and support.
I also offer consulting and mentoring appointments for new coaches, or for experienced coaches who are needing seasoned consulting in the work they are doing with clients. This can be arranged on a one-time or reoccurring basis.
I am a nationally board-certified health and wellness coach with a positive psychology approach. My national board exams were taken in partnership with the same organization that licenses doctors in the United States: the National Board of Medical Examiners. I have been certified through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy in collaboration with the Institute for Functional Medicine. I am also a course facilitator at FMCA training new coaches.
For almost three decades I have had international training and experience in human development and leadership. I have studied psychology and human services at Trinity Western University. I am a lecturer in seminars, conferences, and classrooms on the gift of pain and the power of enjoyment over fear to bring about lasting changes in our lives. I am trained in Crucial Conversations – tools for how to talk when stakes are high.
I work with most of my clients virtually through the online platform of Zoom - allowing them flexibility and convenience for scheduling appointments. In-person sessions can also be requested.
