Hi, my name is Misha. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults in learning how to listen to and care for their emotions and bodies. 

Did you know health coaches now have established national standards and certification, led by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) which started to unify the field around common standards in 2010? NBHWC is a nonprofit affiliate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, responsible for physician licensing examinations since 1915. 


I am certified by NBHWC and have taken their rigorous board exams. I have studied psychology and human services at Trinity Western University, and I have also been certified through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA) in collaboration with the Institute for Functional Medicine. I have worked as an instructor at FMCA training new coaches. While working there we were recipients of the Excellence in Teaching and Training Award for 2020 from the United States Distance Learning Association. In addition to seeing clients in my own private practice, I also offer mentoring appointments for new coaches and consultations for experienced coaches. This can be arranged on a one-time or recurring basis. 

I help others with understanding how our bodies and nervous systems respond to stress, learning physical and emotional regulation techniques. I help with developing strength-based self-awareness, rest strategies, grief support, healthy and gentle habit establishment, and more. A primary area of focus is the way our brains, emotions, and bodies interact with each other - and how that impacts our connection with ourselves and others. I love working with clients who are just beginning a new health journey, and with those who are stuck and looking for partnership in areas where they need a fresh perspective.

In-person sessions can also be requested (while honoring required covid protocols.)
